[New Features] The Mars Volta Summer ‘17 Release Highlights

Why is this release named The Mars Volta?

The word Volta in the band name, Mars Volta, was taken from a Fellini book about his films. He called the changing over of a scene, the Volta. Changing of time is exactly what this release is all about. The growth, evolution, and turning of the corner with many updates to the user experience and face of our application.

To begin with, you will notice our new dashboard. A single-view look at what is going on in your StoryPorts account. Also, to enrich the user experience, we’ve simplified clickstreams and work flows. Plus, your account is simpler to navigate with more intuitive processes built into the platform. To top off the release, we’ve added theme libraries and a beta program for our new Interactive Email modules and Countdown Clock. Finally, let’s not forget the cosmic tie-in this summer!

New Navigation

We are excited to introduce many updates to navigation throughout the platform. We’ve simplified the process of moving in and out of features inside of your account. You will see that we have also included breadcrumbs in the navigation with additional color coding to assist with placement in the app.

New Dashboard

You will notice right away that your account statistics are available on your dashboard right after logging in. Under “At a Glance”, you’ll immediately be able to see how many Connectors are set up in your account, how many publishes you’ve made over the last week, the number of streams created, the number of automatons running and the status of your ESP integration. And last, but certainly not least, we’ve incorporated news you can use. Quick tips and marketing inspiration for you. Shew! That is a lot of important information right at your fingertips!

New Theme Libraries

Our native theme library has leveled up! Jump in and take a look at the number of color combinations, light and dark looks, plus different button sizes and styles. Or you’re welcome to start with one of our themes, then edit to make it your very own custom theme!
